Mark Engel is a Senior Vice President at RB Jones, where he directs and oversees the operations, growth strategy and positioning of its Marine, Energy & Professional Lines business.

With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mark is known for helping RB Jones become a leading marine market underwriter. He demonstrates effective leadership and has helped the company significantly expand its Marine, Energy and Cargo business and talent over the years.

Mark is instrumental in strategizing how the company’s Marine & Energy expertise and market relationships are utilized throughout the H.W. Kaufman Group network. His leadership and expertise also extend to innovating in-demand products.

Understanding the importance of educating others and supporting the profession, he often speaks at various internal and external events.

Brad Nehring

Director of Energy

Brad Nehring joined RB Jones with over 25 years of executive experience in various roles of Chief Underwriting Officer, Regional President, Claims, and Operations.     For the past seven years, he has worked within the MGA sector of the business, where he has developed several programs with Lloyds and domestic E&S carriers for energy, environmental, renewal, and agri-business.  These fully delegated underwriting facilities included primary and excess casualty,  Environmental, Professional, & Property coverages.

Brad holds a CPCU, Claims law Associate, ARM designation, and previously worked in senior positions with AIG, Allianz, Marsh, & XL/Winterthur.

John Gambino

Underwriting Manager, Cargo

John Gambino is the Cargo Manager at RB Jones, where he is responsible for the production and development of the new Stock Throughput Program launched in 2020. With 40 years of experience in Marine Insurance on both the broking and underwriting sides, John brings his unique perspective to his role as an MGA for Atain Insurance Company and Atain Specialty Insurance Company. Well versed in the marine lines of Hull, P&I and Marine Liabilities, John is able to bring his “all lines” experience to RB Jones Marine and Energy for the benefit of our agents.

Tracy Markowski is the Underwriting Manager, Hull and Liability, for RB Jones. Tracy has over 20 years of domestic and international insurance experience as a direct Underwriter, Reinsurance Underwriter and in compliance roles giving her the perfect tools to manage portfolio’s rate strength, limit profiles and individual risks.
