Policy Questions

1. How will underwriting be handled going forward?

We are excited and pleased to announce that both Zandra Brown and Kevin Kempf will be joining the RB Jones Marine & Energy team and will remain your underwriters on your accounts. During the transition, please send all underwriting requests to your underwriter and marine@rbjonesinsurance.com.

2. Will the policy rates, terms and conditions of in force polices remain unchanged?

Yes. No changes will take place until the usual renewal negotiations take place at the policy anniversary date. We will not be able to use the name Smart Cargo Insurance going forward as that has been trademarked by Corvus.

3. Will the security for my insurance policy remain with Imperium Insurance Company?

Yes.

4. What happens if I don’t have an appointment with RB Jones?

Many of the agents and brokers are already appointed with RB Jones Marine & Energy. No action is required on the part of those agents. Those that are not will be invited to become appointed agents for us. If you are uncertain if your organization is appointed with RB Jones please email marine@rbjonesinsurance.com.

Where do I send payments?

For invoices dated prior to September 16, 2022 please continue to send payments to Corvus.

Claim Questions

What if I had a claim, or need to follow up on an existing claim or file a new claim?

There is no change in the handling of your claim. All claims will still be adjusted by WK Webster who can be reached, as usual, at:
